Vetrepreneurs

A Vetrepreneur is a military veteran who owns and operates a business enterprise.

Contact eCommerce is proud to partner with the following vetrepreneurs to get both their products and their amazing stories out to the public:

30 Seconds Out - Art & Apparel - 30 Seconds Out was started in September 2014.

The owner Evan lives a simple life after spending 20 years in the military; he likes to help others where he can and enjoys the quiet life up in the mountains away from the traffic and crime elsewhere.

He started the business to "provide original art, apparel and goods that reflect my style and sense of humor."

He is always open to an email if you have a question or suggestion and is thankful for support of his business.  Click here to check out 30 Seconds Out and be sure to visit Contact eCommerce in mid-September when 30 Seconds Out products are in stock!

Sword and Plough - Clothing - Sword and Plough originates from an ancient saying, "To turn swords into plough shares" which means to take military technology and apply to civilian applications.

Sword and Plough was started by two sisters, Emily and Betsy, who were born into a military family. The two repurpose wasted military surplus into fashionable bags. They incorporate veterans into every stage of the business. Their brand as defined by them is "rugged, refined and relevant." Click here to check out Sword and Plough.

Frag Out Clothing Company - Clothing - Frag Out is dedicated to making clothing that represents the pride and spirit of those who have served and those who love their country.  They are big advocates for veteran owned businesses and have a "Brothers in Arms" page to share the stories of vetrepreneurs doing great work in their communities.  Learn more at their site!

Born Primitive - Clothing - Born Primitive is owned and operated by an active duty military family. They are extremely grateful to those who serve or have served this great nation (especially our fellow military, firefighters, police, and first responders), and we are proud to support various charities, including the Navy SEAL Foundation and 555 Firefighter Fitness. Most importantly, we hold a special place for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while downrange or in the line of duty.  Follow this link to learn more about Born Primitive!

Bullets2Bandages - Barware and Men's Accessories - As Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal officers, Erik Spalding and Cole Evans were once responsible for defusing and disposing the explosive devices that have become all-too-common in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Upon exiting the military in 2010 they felt they had a responsibility to create a way for people to say “Thank You” to their fellow soldiers and the veterans that have fought for our freedom and safety.  What started out as an initial line of necklaces and bracelets for the The Travis Manion Foundation quickly evolved into the bottle openers, survival kit, and other accessories you can find on our website today.  Click here to learn more about Bullets2Bandages.

Counter Strike Coffee - Coffee - Counter Strike Coffee was born while its founder, Brandon, was teaching an urban medical integration class.  As a combat veteran with 10 years of service, Brandon wanted to produce outstanding coffee that reflects some of the experiences individuals have while serving this great country of ours. Counter Strike Coffee's vision is for veterans, Active Duty Military, L.E.O.’s, Public Safety and military supporters alike will be able to enjoy the animated depictions of each roast while consuming the best damn coffee they have ever had.

Combat Flip Flops - Apparel - Combat Flip Flops' mission is to create peaceful, forward-thinking opportunities for self-determined entrepreneurs affected by conflict. Our willingness to take bold risks, community connection, and distinct designs communicate, "Business, Not Bullets"--flipping the view on how wars are won. Through persistence, respect, and creativity, we empower the mindful consumer to manufacture peace through trade. As Army Rangers with several Afghanistan tours behind them, Griff and Lee saw a country filled with hard-working, creative people who wanted jobs, not handouts. Combat Flip Flops has taken a product that people in nearly every country on the planet wear, and made it a weapon for change. Right now, all of their flip flops are made in Bogota, Colombia, providing jobs and investing in people who desperately need it.

Huckleberry Beard Company - Beard Care - Cory Lynn is a young bearded entrepreneur who is very passionate about men's skin and hair care. He started this company in June of 2014 because he believes that quality is always better than quantity and is out to make a completely different statement about today's men. He is determined to BRING MANLY BACK and is challenging each person to jump on board and help spread the word.

Fidelis Co. - Gear - Tim O'Neil founded Fidelis Co., after leaving the Marines where he had served as an Infantry Officer. As he transitioned from wearing uniforms to working in boardrooms, he wanted to see the same rugged construction, functional utility, and modular features that was in so much of the gear he used while operating as an Infantry Officer. Fidelis Co. then paired that high level function with an urban / everyday aesthetic that makes their gear appropriate from the weekday through the weekend.

Rollors - Games - Minnesota-native Matt Butler is the inventor of Rollors. The concept was first visualized on downtime between deployments overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan supporting combat operations. Upon return Matt developed a prototype in his garage.  A few months later; Matt saw an opportunity to employ local veterans to help construct the game on a bigger scale.  These days, Matt has the game developed outside the United States in order to get it to a price point for people to buy in brick and mortar stores.  He hasn't stopped helping veterans though; Matt now uses the platform of his success to consult other veterans needing a second career on how to effectively manage their inventions. He opens the pages of his story of patenting, distributing, and selling his invention in hopes to inspire and guide other retired and active "brothers in arms" with their creations. Let's roll!
